Teacher Learning Circles
About TLC Goals
The TLC training develops a support network for teachers in conflict-affected contexts. The following overarching goals are meant to be outcomes of the intervention for the participants, and as a result the students and community. These goals, and the specific goals that follow, are intended to develop the whole person of the teacher, both in and out of the classroom. Though the curriculum provides professional development, it also provides the opportunity for personal growth and reflection. By conducting a variety of activities and sessions, each participant will be able to access the material, regardless of his or her learning style or capabilities.
